Our Mission

At A & Y Birthday Blessings, our mission is to bring joy, hope, and a sense of belonging to children in need by providing free, personalized birthday celebrations. We believe every child deserves to feel special on their birthday, regardless of financial hardship, homelessness, or life circumstances. Through our efforts, we aim to create lasting memories, uplift spirits, and spread love—one birthday at a time.

About Us

Founded by Andrea Miller, A & Y Birthday Blessings was created as a way to give back to the community and ensure that no child’s birthday goes uncelebrated due to financial hardship. As an extension of A & Y Event Kreationz, LLC, this initiative provides free birthday celebrations for children ages 3 to 12 in families facing economic struggles, job loss, homelessness, or transitional housing situations. We understand that birthdays are a time of joy, love, and laughter, and we are committed to making every child feel special.

That’s why we offer:

Personalized Birthday Celebrations – Themed decorations, cake, and gifts tailored to each child’s unique preferences.

Group Birthday Parties – Partnering with shelters and community organizations to celebrate multiple children at once.

Birthday-In-A-Box – A DIY party kit with decorations, a small cake, and a gift for families to celebrate at home.

How It Works

To ensure we serve families who need it most, we have a few eligibility requirements:

Income Eligibility – Families must meet federal poverty guidelines or receive government assistance (SNAP, WIC, Medicaid, TANF, Free/Reduced Lunch).

Age Requirement – The child must be between 3 and 12 years old at the time of the birthday celebration.

Priority Families – We prioritize children experiencing homelessness, foster care situations, or recent financial hardship.

Party Limitation – One party per family per year. If a family has previously received a birthday party through our initiative, they must wait at least two years before reapplying.
