About A & Y Birthday Blessings
​Founded by Andrea Miller, A&Y Birthday Blessings was created from a desire to give back to the community and ensure that no child’s birthday goes uncelebrated due to hardship. Inspired by her own childhood experiences and guided by years of professional work supporting children and families, Andrea developed an initiative rooted in dignity, compassion, and joy.

A&Y Birthday Blessings serves children ages 3 to 12 across all three counties in the State of Delaware. The initiative supports families experiencing financial hardship, homelessness, or transitional living situations by providing Birthday-In-A-Box kits, thoughtfully curated packages that allow families to celebrate at home with ease and pride.
In addition, A&Y Birthday Blessings partners with shelters and community organizations to host group birthday celebrations, ensuring children in shared living or care environments are celebrated together in meaningful and inclusive ways.
